I really like the DG vintage deluxe, and based on the clips I’ve heard, the Tech 21 DP-3x sounds like it would be up your alley too.

Thanks for all the recs. Interesting on Lou's tone, never would have guessed, and I've seen them live a couple times. I've got some listening to do, but I really like the Darkglass vintage clips I'm hearing, even if it is a clean blend and not a crossover. It is more natural sounding than a lot of clean blends I've heard/played
