Looking for a secondary bass

I'm looking for a secondary bass primarily for slap. I want to keep within the $300 - $400 range. So far I have researched Yamaha RBX 375, ESP B55 and Ibanez SR305 (all within my price range). Any suggestions on which would be best for the $ and to fit my purposes?

THANKS

I would lean you twards the SR305; however if you can find one used, try for a 405 or 535. I got a Used 535 for 400, and I found the Maple neck to be great for the brighter tone on the high strings, without loosing the growl on the bottom end. Stay away from the LTD B55. I had it for about a month, and quickly fell out of love with the weight and craftsmanship. Fender Squier Jazz as Bender suggested wouldnt be a bad idea either in your range.
