hi all, sorry if this topic has been covered before,I tried searching ,but no luck so far :(
actually I am asking on behalf of my friend who plays sax,he is a one man band,he uses his laptop for the backing tracks(in midi form),and he plays sax on top.at the moment he uses cakewalk as a software, while performing he is reading the notation, that is a must because he has so many songs in his song bank(around 1500),he cant remember all.
His problem is,he spends unnecessary time between the songs,I mean choosing the up coming song, and that is not very good in live performance.what he needs is,he needs a software that would alllow him to choose the next song before hand, may be in the last several bars of the song he is playing,or even before that,or choosing several songs at a time, but he must see the notation(best would be seeing the notaion and the song list on the screen).
so,is there a software that can do that? :bag:
thanks for your time guys, any help would be appreciated
    peace

if he is using SONAR 4 then he can use the playlist feature. i would imagine some of the other newer sequencers have that feature also.
