Looking for a ver high amperage power supply

Hi there,

I've got a EBS Valve Drive DI on the way, and I'm curious if there are any isolated brick-type power supplies that could handle the 700ma load. I also run a Bassbone, with it's quirky 15v power supply. In addition to those, I also have the EBS Multi-Comp, TC Polytune Mini, TC HoF Reverb, FDeck HPF3 and a Joyo American Sound. I've yet to find a PS that will power all of those. The CIOKS DC10 comes close, but it doesn't seem to have high enough amperage to support the Valve Drive DI.

Are there any power supplies out there that will power all of this?

We could make one. How many volts at what amperage would be ideal?
Well, I would need two different voltages in one box: 9V and 15V. As far as amperage goes, 2 Amps total at the input would suffice.

Valve Drive DI: 9V 700ma
Bassbone: 15V 400ma
EBS MultiComp: 9V 35ma
Polytune Mini: 9V 40ma
American Sound: 9V, can't be more than 100 ma
HoF: 9V 100ma
FDeck HPF3 - 9V, 100ma?
 
Do you mean 2A at the output?
Why do you say no more than 100mA for that one? The pedal won't consume more than it needs. Over voltage may be an issue, but having more amperage available than being utilized isn't going to hurt most things.

Assuming everything is plugged in at once, you need to over rate by 20% for continous duty. So
9v 2A
15v .5A
Maybe I can find a multi tap transformer somewhere
 
I have a cioks dc 10 but still use the wall wart power supplies for both ebs valve drive and dha vt2.... With all the pedals above the pedal board and the supplies below I still have ample room to stick a micro thumpinator (when I save up for it) and power strip underneath

The Voodoo Lab Pedal Power Series will do what you need. You will need a voltage doubling (series) cable for the Bassbone (which operates just fine at 18V, according to Radial Bassbone V2™ - FAQ ), and a current doubling (parallel) cable for the EBS Valve Drive.

Check out the Pedal Power Mondo or the Pedal Power 4x4 (you might need a splitter or daisy chain cable, since it only has 4 regular 9V outputs).

From the linked FAQ:
"The Bassbone V2 has built-in regulators that will bleed off the excess voltage as heat."

I have the V1. No resistors.

Any reason why you might feel uncomfortable running the Bassbone on its own power supply, then, and running everything else on a Pedal Power? Or upgrading to a V2?

I've got a PT-Jr, and I would like to simplify the wiring and and potentially eliminate/lower the noise floor through running an ISO PS. There's barely enough room under the board depth-wise. I've had to add about a dozen fender washers as shims to raise the board to clear the PS for the Bassbone and the One Spot I've got powering everything currently. As far as an upgrade, I may in the future as it has the high resistance input for a piezo on Ch. 2 for my upright.

It's a low voltage AC outdoor lighting (Malibu Lights to the old farts) transformer.
