Looking for Bluetooth adapter to play music on amp

I use a iPhoen to 1/8" connector
There are also USB - C versions

I thought for sure I was missing something. I use a USB C to 1/8” cable to attach my iPad/iphone…absolutely no need for Bluetooth. A cable is always better.

I use the XVive Bluetooth Audio receiver. Based upon my more than positive experience with my XVive wireless set for my bass I choose this one out of the many options there are. It's non nonsense, affordable and works perfectly.

Yes it's necessary unfortunately because my cell phone (and most modern phones) doesn't have a headphone jack. Super annoying.

They don't have audio jacks but they use the charger port. As I said previously, they make a Lightning to 1/8'' cable and also a USB C to 1/8" cable depending on what phone you have.

Just to add one more bit of information: this is a case where the cable really matters.
And I am not speaking about crazy "gold contacts" or "esoteric" stuff.

In this case, the USBC connector does not have any audio signal, only "data".

The connector will contain a tiny DAC (Digital to Analog Converter) which is responsible for the sound you hear.
Not uncommon, especially when going "on a budget" to get very poor sound quality from this DAC, or even noises which are way worse than what you would expect from a "bad cable".

I use one of them (UGREEN) to send audio from my laptop to my vintage stereo system. Works a charm and has been reliable.
