Looking for Bluetooth adapter to play music on amp

Hi all! I'm looking for a good Bluetooth adapter that will plug into a 1/4" or 1/8" auxiliary in port on my bass amp, so I can play music from my phone on the amp.

Ideally would be one at a low price that doesn't have any unneeded features like the ability to take calls. I would like something with an internal battery that charges over USB.

Latency isn't really a huge issue, as I'll just be using it to steam music to play along to. I don't know if there's a difference in audio quality between different adapters, but if there is, higher quality is better.

Hate to say it but Amazon is where you’ll find consumer grade receivers.
And lots of them.
Pro Audio grade BT receivers will be overkill in function and price.

Indeed, you will need luck if you purchase from Amazon . Buy from a reputable music seller like Sweetwater or the likes. Or, in this case, every DJ supplier should carry one. You will not spend much more money but will be sure that the thing is going to work.

I have a couple that I use with non-bluetooth amps. They are under £10. Often they're advertised as a solution for a car: it's a tiny little box, with a built-in rechargeable battery, a USB port for recharging and a 3.5mm jack to plug into your amp. That's it. Several hours in a single charge.

I just use an iPhone/ 1/8 adapter, only problem is they are very small and easy to lose.

They’re probably out of existence by now, but for many years I used ones branded “Miccus” that could also transmit. They don’t last forever, but I got at least five years out of the ones I bought @ 20$ apiece.

Skip amazon(hate this company, ruined my city) and go straight to aliexpress. Same cheap chinese junk without the middleman fee. I use this one, they last a cpl years so I keep an extra on hand.

Why not go straight from your phone? They make a Lightning to 1/8" cables (for iPhone). I, personally, use an MP3 player and a 1/8" aux cable.

Yes it's necessary unfortunately because my cell phone (and most modern phones) doesn't have a headphone jack. Super annoying.

My iPhone has no headphone jack.
I use a iPhoen to 1/8" connector
There are also USB - C versions
