Hi all.. i recently bought an epiphone thunderbird (the cheapest) and was actually quite charmed by its quality.
After dealing with the neckdive problem I put on some fresh strings hoping it would have some more brightness to the overall sound.
Guess what?? It didn't help...
I'm not planning to hang it on the wall and collect dust.. or sell it, so....
What to do??
Wich pickups are good to go??

I normaly play my fender mij jazz and am very fond of its sound but a p/j sounds great as well! So I'm looking for something in that direction..
Does anyone have suggestions??
