Looking for good bass shops in LA county

Definitely try to get to a Carvin shop while you're here. The big knock against them is that you can't play one before you order. But they have a few stores in California.

Try The Bass Exchange on Ventura Blvd. in Studio City. Some cool basses. Also, the vintage room in GC on Sunset BLVD has some cool (over priceed) stuff to see. While you're there in the area, there is a place called Vintage Gear & a place called Voltage Guitars (I think) a few doors up that have some cool stuff. Across the street is a place called Mesa Boogie (at least that's the sign above it) that has some cool effects & some Nash & Lakland basses. Hope that helps.
