Looking for new strings for Ibanez PNB14E

Hey! New here so sorry if this is the wrong place to ask but i’m trying to find a different set of strings for my acoustic. Don’t like how bright the bronze ones are. Did a bit of research and read that the La Bella CB40s could work but was just looking for more info. Also interested in flats or tapes if anyone’a tried anything with success. i know they may be quieter but i’ll be playing with a small amp for acoustic jams. Looking for a less bright sound as i do a lot of country n such. thanks!

Hi John. I have a Fender ABG model CB-100CE that I didnt like with the phosphor bronze strings on it, so I changed them for a set of black tapes La Bella 750N and have been a lot happier with these. Not sure of the gauge you are using but these are a light set with the gauges .050, .065, .085, .105
Check out their website (link below) and give them a try...i really love them on my Fender Acoustic.
