Looking for quality and simple to assemble EQ and Pickups for a 5 string jazz

EMG are not a sound I prefer (being a passive guy), but for simplicity of installation, they're pretty hard to beat. Plus, there's plenty of other people who dig the sound.

Sadowsky or J Retro would be my choice of preamp. Sadowsky, Fralin, or Nordstrand would be my choice for pickups.

As far as I know Fender does not make any CS or RI Jazz pups for a 5-string which is a shame, because I want a pair. SD 1/4 pounders are not available anymore, so I hope someone can suggest other options.

I just installed a Nordstrand in my Zone Jazz and love it. Comes pre-wired and soldered with all pots.
