Looking for specific effect/pedal

Hello all, I'm looking for this specific effect and hopped someone here may be able to help. The effect I'm after, whether it be a pedal or a combination van be heard in both of these videos. Can be heard around the 1:16 mark in this one and around the 0:40 Mark in this one

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated, thank you

Well you start out with a cross, some flammable, but non explosive liquid, a bic lighter and a fire extinguisher nearby, just in case.

Seriously in the first video it sounds like a really good overdrive to my ears at first. But then the keys cut in on top of it and they bleed on top of the bass causing an audible deception of is that the bass or the keys? The keys definitely sound like they overpower the sound of the bass. But at 1:16 where the bass kicks in it definitely sounds like a very good overdrive.

The 2nd video, the bass, while clearly there, the drive is very subtle compared to the first. Towards the end the bass does seem to get grittier than how it starts out.

EHX Bassballs maybe?

Maybe the Mooer Bass Sweeper, which is a Bass Ball clone with more controls, for more accurate adjustment of the envelope filter sound.

Definitely overdive/distortion + some form of envelope filter.

The EHX Bassballs got build in distortion that can be engaged.

My recollection is that Jeordie White used an MXR M80+ - there's even a preset with his name on it in the user manual - for that first track (Sweet Dreams).

Bass on the new track sounds a lot fuzzier and filtered, I think you could get that fairly easily with a Damnation MBD with the blend rolled all the way off or a FuzzImp Sender V.

Sounds to me like a thick distortion with the treble cut? Is that the one you mean?
Hello thank you for your reply, it then transforms in that wacky sound around 1:53
