Looking for specific strings

Hi, without going into a long story (I'll save that for another thread introducing myself) I recently pulled my bass out. It was an instrument I picked up at a pawn shop to add to my gear and after gigging with it for a while it has sat unused for years after a move. I pulled it out to clean it up and figured it would be best to put fresh strings on it as well.

I pulled it out of the case (it is a Fender Precision Bass) and realized I really like the strings. It had been so long I did not really remember, but the strings currently on it (that I am going to change) are smooth (no texture) and black, feel almost "rubbery" and have what looks like gold yarn looking string material at the end that is wrapped around the tuning peg. They have literally been on the guitar for YEARS, but even if they do work for now, I want to have a spare set. I know they should be changed, though.

I was never very much of a "tech" person with my instruments and in fact it was many years before I felt confident changing my own strings and doing minor set up and maintenance. I really like the feel of these old strings, and they have a nice warm sound, and would love to know what kind they are. I have some replacement strings from long ago that are VERY old, and they are the "standard" steel type I remember, and the ones currently on the guitar feel much better to me. I honestly do not even remember them and they may have even been put on it when I loaned it to my dad when he was playing bass in his church's band.

I hope my description is not too vague, and I can attach pictures if needed, but would anyone more knowledgeable could shed some light. I know I could ask at the local shop, but I am currently stuck on quarantine after getting sick. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance for any help you can give.

Oh my gosh! Thank you so much! I looked those up and those are the strings! You are awesome and again I thank you so much! That was super quick. I’m so glad I found this community.
