A headliner for a dating site. Haha. Well, I am a musician of 12 years and a bassist of 4 years. I have been stuck with a cheap roland keyboard amp for far too long, and have commissioned a Carl Thompson fretless bass as well as well as owning a Dean Spire and Dean Edge 6-string bass. I've learned that all instruments and no equipment is a bad thing; my bad.
Well, I am influenced by the tones in Radiohead, Cynic, Tool, Beyond Creation, Primus, and System of a Down. I plan on doing jazz, metal, rock, sympohony, basically all genres but country.
I'm stuck to a small town without a car, so going to a store to test equipment would be awesome but isn't feasible. I have seen demos for a GK 2001rb amp head, but have no idea about what kind of cabinets I should look into.
Would anyone be able to help out and give me suggestions toward what amps and cabinets are good to look into for what I'm trying to do?
