I am looking for a band or to start a band in NYC with two bass players (one playing mostly chords), a guitarist, and a drummer (just an idea- not a requirement)
I do not want to tightly confine the sound that the band may have, but the idea for the band is inspired by bands such as Nights Like These, The Sword, Fu Manchu, early Queens of the Stone Age, Clutch, Mastodon, The Jonbenet, , Kyuss and others (obviously, I mentioned "the big names"). Basically, heavy, slow to fast, loud, but with melodic parts.
Let me know if you are interested, have a band already that I might fit into, or know people that might be interested. Again, it doesn't have to exactly match what I listed here.
