So I'm currently using an Ibanez SR500 but the bass I always really wanted but could never afford is the Prestige SR5000e. Since I won't have the money to buy one anytime soon I was hoping to upgrade the electronics in my own Ibanez to make it sound closer to the Prestige.
Now, I was wondering if it is at all possible to buy the custom Bartolini pickups used in the Prestige model as well as the pre-amp.
If it's not, I would greatly appreciate any suggestions for pickups and pre-amps that might get me a similar sound.
