Hey everyone, I know this isn't a bass but I'm posting this everywhere that I can. If you know of any other music forums that I can post at, please let me know! I ask that you share this around too, especially those in the NYC area.
Basically the cab driver drove off before I could get my stuff from the trunk. My girlfriend slipped on ice and I caught her while my other friend closed the back door. Chased after the cab but no dice. I didn't get my receipt nor his medallion #.
It's a 70s white sg special. Aftermarket black bridge. It had the zoom sticker near the controls and two metallic heart shaped stickers on the headstock. It's a body glove bass bag.
More details in the link below. This is probably one of the worst things that have ever happened to me in a very long time.

Update: I get an email from a man named Joe saying he knows the guy who has my guitar and gives me a phone number of a man named Mark.
I call Mark, he says that he thinks some guy names Marcus has my guitar and gives me that guy's number. I call Marcus who says that Joe sold Mark my guitar and that Mark has it. Back to Mark who apparently "buys and sells lots of guitars" and doesn't recall buying my guitar today. But he will check. Supposedly. Here's hoping I'm not about to get stabbed in an alley.
