I've had the Micro for several months now and I enjoy using it to play late at night/very early in the morning before work. The tiny size makes it ideal to stuff into a gig bag if I have to go over songs prior to a rehearsal or show. The amp selections seem much more geared for guitar than bass, but I am able to get usable tones out of the clean amps and I usually have effects set to zero level. Occasionally I'll have reverb set at level one. Bluetooth connection to my iPhone or computer is a breeze, although the music sounds a bit crackly. I was surprised to learn that the Micro is also an interface which I use to record with Garage Band on my newer Mac laptop, although I needed to buy a really long USB C cable. For the price the Micro is a great headphone amp/interface.
I have seen the info on the new Micro Plus and am very curious about the additional features. Twice as many amps and effects that can be controlled by an app. And I really like the preset feature, tuner and display. Seems worth the extra $30. BTW, does anyone know what bi-directional recording is??
