I had the fortunate experience of meeting Bakithi at NAMM one year. He was just standing near a booth listening to someone else play. Nobody knew who he was except for the guy next to me who whispered, "Hey dude.... you know who that is?" I didn't, and when he told me I lit up, and immediately asked to shake his hand. Told him I wanted some of his magic to hopefully rub off on me.
Only talked to him for a couple of minutes, but he was exactly as he seems in this video, and he lit up almost as much as I did.
Anyhow, I tried and tried and finally just gave up on the solo in this song.

Loved hearing this. The whole video is great, but the most important stuff starts for me at around 8:40. Who knew?
