We spend so much time on this forum inquiring about and discussing tone and I just wanted to state for the record I am loving my current rig:
1974 P Bass maple neck, D'Addario Chrome Flats>MarkBass Compressore>Little Mark Tube 800>MarkBass HR 104 (4x10 rear ported cab). Sounds fantastic. Will post clips but the tone (not the playing- maybe one day) reminds me of Willie Weeks' tone on Donny Hathaway Live. The MarkBass stuff is really high quality. I'm saving up for a second matching cab for bigger sound.
