Loving the Schroeder content here...

:hyper:

I've been frequenting a couple of other forums for a couple of years, and have had the feeling that I was a little on my own for feeling so much admiration for my Schro 21012...sure is good to hear on this forum that there's love out there for something I've found to be so potent....

Heaven help my ass and wallet if I ever feel the need to test out some of the other high-end stuff you guys are using regularly!:help:

Right on, Timmerz...

Big 21012L fan here. It's seeing a lot of action and it gets better every time..

Yup! Know that feeling....pleasure to make your aquaintance, wateroftyne....
Isn't it a kick to look back at your side of the stage and hear that bass and only see a box a little smaller than a 4x10? I still am having a hard time with that, even after a couple of years! I came from an SWR Megoliath to the Schro 21012.
What's that amp/input setup you're using there? Lately I've found myself wondering if the rack gear is really necessary....might be time to down-size the electronics as well, if I can find something that will get me the same sound in a smaller package....

I've been using an 8ohm 1212 for a few years now, and am currently pairing it with a Bergantino HT115, and it's brutal. Loud low and clean in all corners of whatever room I'm playing. Lately I've been playing shows with no PA support for the bass, and this rig simply kills.

I use a 1210 for nearly all my gigs, and a 410 for the occasional big gig.

And both for *really* big gigs.

I love the Schroeder sound!

I've been kicking myself ever since I had to turn down a Schro 410 that was offered to me at almost 1/2 price by a bud of mine in San Francisco that went with a different, larger speaker cabinet...I just didn't have the cash at the time....that would have been sweet! Can you imagine the sound of a Schro 410 cab on top of a Schro 21012? You want to talk about overhead....

It's an Acoustic Image Focus 2 and a programmable SABDDI. 600w, and teeny-tiny. I love it.

I am still very impressed with my 21012L... and understand that the 210212L is even better (and bigger also, but still relatively light).

I very much like the 115/210 stack vibe of this cab in a small (16" deep), lightweight (62 pounds) single cab.... very deep bass but plenty of definition... it's a GREAT funk cab, and many use it successfully for more classic rock tones also.
