I'm looking for a good tuner to support a Low B string that's easily visible in full sunlight

I've been running Korg Pitchblack tuners for years, one of the few non-strobes I found that will deal with an open B without a harmonic. It's a great tuner, but the display disappears in direct sunlight.
I'm playing more and more daytime gigs of late and need something that will fit the bill.
Recommendations welcome

Clip on tuner?

I've got a Peterson that you can easily adjust the angle of, and the best part is that it frees up one more space on your pedal board. Result!

This is what I love. Reads the B string without a waver and auto light sensing.

The few times I've played outside in the daylight both my Turbo Tuner (ST-300 Mini) and Peterson Strobostomp HD have been good. The Strobostomp will look monochrome in the sun, but it is very visible and handles everything with ease. They thought this one through and I don't think there's a better pedal tuner on the market. There's a photo of it in the daytime right on the front page - Link Removed

I’ve only ever used a Polytune indoors, but I have no doubt it would be much more visible than my Pitchblack+, which becomes basically unreadable more than a foot or two away. I can’t complain much, since the Pitchblack+ was given to me. However, if not for it’s second channel, which I use for keeping a cable ready in case of wireless failure, I probably would have replaced it long ago.

Honestly, I would be a little surprised if every other modern tuner pedal weren’t better outdoors. My Pitchblack+ is really that bad.

I knew a amp tech that used to be a engineer and would invented little music items. One was a shield for the Boss TU tuners. He had a lot of pro touring clients he repaired amps for that were having a hard time seeing the tuners in bright sunlight so he made a simple shield that clips on the tuner and blocks the light from the leds. You could probably make one out of cardboard or some plastic for whatever tuner you do have.
