Low(er) gain, dynamic response OD pedal

The Grizzly Bass does precisely what you are after.

I've been getting to know this pedal, it's very natural sounding, fantastic...my only criticism is the lightshow that makes it heat up, do we need more power drain? It needs a high amp output...when on a lower amp line it just distorts. I still use a Beta for cleaner boost and turn it off to use this, which seems more low mid voiced. On the Grizzly I'm liking both drives and volume at about 10oclock, I have the scoop and high cut at 3 or 4, I Do Not Need much scoop or un-brightening, maybe if I was using this thing alone...it might be a good minimal packing one pedal for auto 1967 2 15s Fender bassman sound. While it can Attempt a TAFM or Pharaoh like distortion it is no where as clear as them so it's just an overdrive for me. Pretty impressive pedal even with the bling. (just checked site, it needs 250mA)
