Low output

Hey all

My new MIM Jazz only has one major problem.The G String has much less output than the rest of the strings.so much so I avoid using it.It doesn't cut through the mix at all.I think it has sometihng to do with the bridge.Any ideas?!

Yeah depending on the type of bass and bridge and pickups. If my warwick or spector was doing that i would first try to lower the strings a tad then raise the pickups a bit as well. But first i would try to change the strings.

AHHHHHHH help please.I have a gig tonight.I put on new strings on wednesday.Now for some reason any note past the 12th fret on the D string isn't sounding out at all.How do I fix this quick!!!

I always get a nice tool kit ready for shows! Keep it in my bag. And always remember to put a fresh roll of duct tape in there! lol
