Lubbock, TX Spector/Ampeg

Yep, some crooked, sorry, good for nothing low life stole my entire rig. It consisted of a SSD era NS4SRFM in transparent red, Ampeg SVT 4 Pro head, SVT 410HLF cabinet and a Samson Pro7 power conditioner. The Gator Cases pedal board consisted of a Boss TU-2 tuner, Digitech BP50 modeling processor, Ashdown James Lomenzo Hyperdrive, Sansamp Bass Driver DI, and a Line 6 X2 wireless system. Other items stolen were a Shure SM58 microphone, Monster Cable bass cable, a speakon cable, several other instrument cables and a leather strap. A white SX P-bass (old headstock) was also stolen along with two gig bags, one of which was a Spector gig bag.
If anyone has any information on these items, please contact me through Talkbass. Thanks!

Ray

I had just gotten home at about 3 in the morning. I unloaded my stuff in the garage and closed the garage door with the door opener and just walked inside like I always do. One of two things happened...either the garage door went back up on it's own or someone was watching and waited until I walked into the house and tripped the safety beam that reverses the door. It wouldn't be that hard to watch my gigging habits and there are plenty of places to hide in order to execute the second scenario.
I had to be at work at 7:15 that morning so I was pissed to begin with but even moreso after only 2 1/2 hours sleep!

The area I live in houses a lot of college students so there is a lot of merchandise to be stolen. I'm really glad I have renter's insurance, but I would really like to have my stuff back.

There was a glimmer of hope yesterday when the Lubbock PD called to inform me that my SX showed up at a local pawn shop on Dec 16th. I got her back with no obvious signs of damage. The bad news is that it was in the Spector gig bag so my Spector is probably floating around in the Musician's Friend gig bag. It looks like somebody knows what they have in their possession. Keep your fingers crossed...I know I am!

Didn't the pawn shop get proper ID from who brought it in?

Yes they did. This loser is a real standup guy. He has a history of indictments for credit card abuse, evading arrest with a motor vehicle and robbery. I guess they can add possession and sale of stolen property to his resume. Don't know if was the one who actually broke in but the police have him and are questioning him.

UPDATE - LPD just delivered my Ampeg SVT 4 Pro, Samson power conditioner and my pedal board minus the microphone and wireless system. They recovered it from the father's house of the guy who pawned my SX. He claims he got the stuff from a guy who currently resides in the Lubbock county jail. The police are going to question him and if he denies any involvement in this mess, the first guy will be charged with possession and sale of stolen property.
The only pieces of gear still missing are the Spector, Ampeg cab, Line 6 wireless, and Shure mic.
