I just took my bass (a Christopher 401T) in to Malcolm Struthers, double bassist in the NZSO, and builder/repairer. Incredibly nice guy, briefly played his bass and another of his builds, both beautiful with huge tones.
Just letting people in my area know he’s around, as he does very little advertising, and he’s now probably about the only one in town.
