I'm not sure if this is the right spot to post but I'm looking for recommendations for a bass luthier to setup some basses for me. Anyone in the DC area have a luthier they use or any DC area luthiers on this forum?

Not much help but there was a really cool shop that did great work in the Dupont Circle area years back. Sorry I can't be more specific.
There's a great guy in Baltimore, if you want to go that far: Philtone.
Chuck's is probably a great choice. I've always had super service there.
Are you talking about normal setup, as in string height, neck, and intonation? Heck, we could meet somewhere in between you and me and do it ourselves!

Yes, just normal setup. I haven't played really in like almost 2 years trying to get back into it, my instruments have just been sitting unused for a while, want to change strings and get everything setup and adjusted on my basses.
Seriously, if all you want to do is a simple straightforward setup, just PM me if you want. My belief is that generally, this is something a player should be able to do on his own, and I'm happy to help.
