M9 Carbine with 2 mesa cabs

I recently purchased a mesa m9 carbine, a 4x10 4 ohm cab, and a 2x10 8 ohm cab.
I was about to hook it all up to give it a test drive, but I started to get a bit paranoid. I understand that my M9 has to be set to 2 ohms and the speaker cables plug into the 2 speaker outputs.
Would I still plug the other end of the speaker cables into the cabs where it says "8 ohms in" and "4 ohms in" just like I would if i were only using one cab, or would i plug them into the "paralleled out"?
I thought I remembered reading that the paralleled out was for daisy chaining cabs, but I was unsure.
I've only ever used combos and singled cab stacks up to this point and I just wanna make sure I'm doing it right!
Thanks in advance!
Happy Easter to those of you who are celebrating it!!

I understand where to plug the cables into the Head. But on the cab itself do I plug into the same inputs i normally would (if i were only using one cabinet (the "8 ohm in" on the one cab and the "4 ohm in" on the other)
Thanks for the quick response!

Sound AMAZING! My band has taken a break from shows to finish up our album, so It'll be a little while before I really get to make her thump. But I cranked it up some just to get a feel for it and I couldn't be happier!

Plugged my Schecter Stiletto Custom 4 into it, sounds like they were made for eachother! My jazz bass doesn't sound fantastic (I've read a lot of ppl say the M9 makes the jazz sound kinda bland) But it wasn't terrible. I also have an Ibanez GSR 206 (wanted a cheap 6 string to play around with) and it has a pretty decent sound through the amp.

Schecter + Mesa = the sound I've always wanted.

That's hardly the M9's fault... ;) ;)

Maybe it just needs some additional tweaking. I don't remember exactly where but I have read a few say that their jazz basses just don't shine like other basses. I prefer my schecter anyway, but I will try the jazz again and see what kinda sound I get.

To be honest I really didn't give it an honest shot. I didn't have it plugged in for more than 5 to 10 minutes. I wasn't trying to troll or anything. It was just a quick observation. I'll report back after spending some real time with the Jazz plugged in.

Just to update in case anyone stumbles onto this thread, the issues with my jazz i think was a combination of dead strings and eq. I picked up a fender deluxe jag recently and spent some time tweaking and it sounds great with the m9 set up. The comments i read may have just been from people who didn't like the jazz sound to begin with.
