I think I found a solution to my desk space problem. Made a little riser/bracket for the drum pad that fits perfectly over the keys. Probably going to make one for the other side, as I'd like to park my ZOIA/other effects in front of the patch bay.
Had plywood and bracket laying around. Bought some screws and rubber feet.
Needed black paint for another project, so I went semi-stylish.
Found some creative solutions for fan placement.
Then I went at it with a sharpie, because none blacker.
Took some sanding to get it to sit properly but it works!
Next project is maybe mounting a synth on a wall. My current solution is a couple vice grips (works better than it sounds). This took longer than I thought but was quite fun. Good to know I can do something with few of the proper tools and almost none of the know-how.
