I was thinking of a "loose wrap" as perhaps a dressing gown with the sash coming undone! Which paints "Laura" of the Loose Wraps in a slightly different light!

Well, yes, that was the implication. Ain't Wrapped Too Tight can also imply loose morals and clothing.

See, I was never anything like my siblings and I'm the only one who was interested in playing an instrument or interested in engineering/building.
But, you were only in 10th grade and your story checks out.
So, you're off the hook.

Heh. Cumberland Valley and Camp Hill were rival high schools. Many tough football games and stolen girlfriends. I graduated in '74.

Yeah, it's the logo I'm using for my site and pickups, etc.

I've always liked the design, and a version of the trefoil design is in my family crest. You usually see it flipped around so the single "point" is on top, but with the two on top, you can sorta make out a T and a P in there, for Turner Pickups.

I slapped 'em on in and made a little sound sample (I start with both pickups on, then to just the neck, then to the bridge, and finally back to both):

I did a quick setup on the bass (though there's still some buzzing in places I need to address), stock strings are still on there, and this is with an Audere Jazz 4-band Preamp, everything set flat. There's some compression from the T-Racks White 2A compressor plugin, but otherwise is basically just a DI signal.
