Make Fodera Yin Yang

Hi,
Luthier will make bass for me. It should be most likewise like Fodera Yin Yang. Please give me the most advice.
Which : fretwire, bridge, tune keys, nut, internal bass preamp(some switches.. every good idea is welcome), jack, potentiometer etc...

I'm sorry for my bad english and really thanks for answers. Have a nice day

I think he is saying he wants a luthier to build him a bass, not build one himself.
I can't help with any answers, sorry, but the Fodera website may help you out. There is some information about their pre-amps.

yep the yin yang bass is under the monarch series, and they do have a few specs and nice pictures. Have you ever played one or you just like the look? The look should be easily copied and as far as sound it uses EMG pickups so nothing too exotic here

Pavel you have to look at the builders work here. Choose the one you like the most and PM him. the Forum rules don't let builders to post prices so the best way for you is to contact the builder you have chose. As a comment, I really (and I mean REALLY) doubt that any of the builders/luthiers who post regularly their projects here will do that job (a replica) for you or any other person.

The Yin/Yang is made from a few options. Vic's main one was alder body, holly and ebony top (yin/yang), birdseye maple and ebony board. His 5'er is alder body, holly and purpleheart top, maple and purpleheart board.
You can get them with an ash, alder, mahogany or walnut body...or anything for that matter. You can pick the two pieces of yin/yang woods.
True about the cost. It will probably run you about $8,500....at least. But they are cool basses though.
Check out this link. This guy had one made for him. It is a copy. Invalid Link Removed
Peace,
Chris

I have seen them made with different woods but maple and ebony or maple and purple heart are the most common. A 4 string will cost you about $10,000.00.

Your right it is holly. The coolest one I have seen is a imperial 5 yin yang wade with birdseye and claro walnut.

Chris, really thanks for your answer.
Peace, Pavel ;)

Chris Stambaugh would do the bass, no? I mean

The design itself is inspired from Monarch shape (imho)

, so there should be no problem putting an ebony top and some white wood (holy or maple, why not).
