make shift pedal board

all i have currently is a chorus pedal and a wah wah... i dont need any fancy pedal board... i have a piece of ply wood that im thinking of taping some velcro too... this is more for a travel convenience then a time saving convienience... once i get more pedals ill just get a bigger peace of wood..

my question is... i just use 9 volts... but the fear of them dieing on me during a show or regersal in the middle of a song creaps me out...

is it worth getting a power supply and how much would a small one cost?

i just bought a dano 9v wall wart from guitar center's bargain bin for 5 bucks... overall, it will save you money on batteries if you just get a cheap one. you dont need any voodoo labs pedal power or anything... and if youre not too concerned about tonal purity, get a power supply.. theres a few others that have daisy chains and can power multiple pedals as well, for relatively cheap.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm going to order one today for my pedal board in development (carpet cover plywood).
