Making A Double J pickup/will this work?

Hey there Bassfolk,
I have 2 carvin humcancelling J bass pickups, both are bridge length. I'd like to make a double J pickup. Is it as easy as snipping off the mounting nubs and gluing them together,or,is there more to it ? Thanks.

Yeah, it'll work. Just take your time to make it look good. I don't know what you'd use for glues. CA is probably ok, but may not hold very well. Epoxy will hold forever, but it's messy, so you'll have to be careful about cleanup if you want a good looking result.

How are they wired together, series or parallel? Probably parallel. Actual humbucker coils are series wired, or maybe you could install a series/parallel switch. Of course, it's all a matter of taste.
