Making a Power supply?

I am looking to build a powe rsupply for roughly 10 pedals (lets say all 9V for now) and I would like to know if anybody here has attempted to make / made one?

I know that many of you out there are electronics bods, so how would I go about making each outlet isolated?

Any help will be appreciated :)

You should first realize that building a power supply means working with 220 volts AC (since you're in the UK). This can cause you to

a) die
b) burn your house down
c) burn down any club where you might be using this supply,

if you don't know what you're doing.

The isolation part is much easier than doing safe mains wiring. Read up on that and decide if you think it's worth the trouble and risk to save a few bucks, then we can help from there. Personally, I wouldn't bother. If you want to save money by building electronics yourself, I would start by building clones of all of your pedals first and selling the ones you have. The absolute last place where you should DIY is the power supply, IMO.
