I happened to have a bunch of George-L plugs on hand, and an assortment of Mogame and Canare cable for my pickup and preamp experiments, so I tried mounting the George-L pugs on the Canare.
You have to trim the cable ends carefully, but the 0.160" GS-4 Canare is a perfect fit for the 0.155" George-L plugs, and at 1/3rd the price of George-L cable, too. Sounds every bit as good.
