'Making my mark' on my bass

I think the f-hole looks great. It adds a bit of class to the blacked-out look. Kind of like a metal bass with a classical vibe..Very Cool.
Reminds me of the Aerodyne bass by Fender with the black headstock...
Yeah they are quite similar.. I think I'm almost IN for the black headstock.

When asking about reapplying the decal, a careful phrasing of the question WILL help a lot
. The discussions about that particular subject tend to get heated and threads closed 
.
I use Schallers. Dunlop and Warwick are two other major manufacturers. A search will reveal that each one of them have pros and cons, and each one of them gets mixed opinions.

Haven't really decided.. the thing is that the 'Squier by Fender, Affinity Series' etc logo would get covered, although that could be replaced using a white sticker..

I added another little mark to mine. I added a small light behind the pickguard, cut out a customized bass clef, and added a red button the the row of knobs.
Now when I press the red button, this happens:

Only if You don't have them and the non-locking strap button lets the strap come off. With quick reflexes You'll catch the falling instrument, but if you're slow-hand, instant added mojo.
One time I was wondering why on earth the guitarist suddenly started playing on his knees in the middle of a gig, middle of a song and then saw his strap lying on the floor.
He does have strap-locks, I bought 'em for him, but he chooses not to install them

Bass lines like a big, funky giant
Medium-to-dark green pickguards look GREAT on all-black basses, IMHO. Black bridge, black knobs, black straplocks, black string tree & black tuners to complete the package. Think "Green Hornet".

Come to think of it, the strap's kind of worn out and the hole where the locks go in is getting wider.. once I was lucky to be playing on my bed, it all came off.. As soon as my finances are replenished (just bought my first not-just-a-15watt-practice-amp, a Marshall MB150, Lm200 = $740..and I have to pay for Engineering degree course..) I'll take your word for it and buy a couple of Schallers

Yeah I've got pretty fast reflexs so every time this has happened to me (quite a few actually...) I've caught it.
which is kinda annoying cause i want some mojo dents but I can't bring myself to do it, has to be accidental obv.
