I don't have a pic but having had a 2nd look the wires are wrong for a Duncan SPB-2 as I seem to remember they were plastic coated rather than cloth covered.
They should be fine to run with another pickup, I have a p/j bass with the Duncan hot pickup and it works fine with the bridge pickup, just raised the bridge pickup a little and lowered the neck pickup slightly and works fine
