Great sound , chops, and feel. I love the sound of the Sterling Stingray 5HH there’s just something about the sound of dual humbuckers

Ya, I remember you posting her band’s videos. They’re super tight but I dig her pocket and tone. She keeps that Sterling tone in there and doesn’t decorate it in anyway. And MAN, can she SING!
For a four piece they are incredibly good. takes me a back 40 years. Anyway, always good to see a band who understand space and integration.
Boyo. I own a couple of old basses that I shouldn’t and theyd do better in her ownership. I’m all for using budget basses, but that player deserves a primo ‘61 Jazz like I have and I don’t deserve. Thank G she’s way over in Aus or I’d have a dilemma.
Every time I see one of her videos in my feed, I always watch it. She's awesome (both on bass and vocals)!
I think she has an "regular" EBMM Stingray 5 now too. And I see some videos with a Yamaha as well. She sounds great on all of them.

Some of us just love cool gear, period.
She certainly can play the bass. She can be seen playing a variety of basses in her videos.
The most important part of her tone is.... her touch. Regardless of which bass she is playing, her note length and articulation are instantly identifiable as those of a mature musician with command of the instrument and a strong grasp of modern bass playing. Very good singer, to boot!

No great revaluations here. A good player will sound good using just about any gear. We’ve known this since the beginning of time.
I have seen really great players on inexpensive equipment and poor players on really expensive equipment. The only thing that owning expensive equipment tells me about you is that you have the money and are willing to spend it. The important thing is how much talent you have and how much time you have put into it.
Great gear can actually expose our weak technique and bad tone more so than a lot of more modestly priced will.
This is true. When I got my first Dingwall (an Afterburner II), it was just so responsive and alive that every nuance and unmuting string was immediately noticeable and that I had to make sure everything was played as cleanly as possible.
She's great. I've been watching her videos for years. The whole band is very good. I always assumed that she was playing a vintage Stingray but if she can get that sound with a Sterling then I'm seeing a new bass in my future.
Maybe so but I believe she sounds best with that single pickup Sterling (?) which I thought was a vintage Music Man.
