Hello TB recordists,
tried searching - google, blackmagic, and now TB - but could not locate an answer to what might be compression artifacting - not exactly a recording questions, but appreciate if anyone can point me in the right direction since many TB members are making awesome looking bass videos.
I'm trying to make a bass video, using GoPro 9 and Davinci Resolve. When I open the video in Resolve, the bass strings have a really annoying aliasing thing going on - stripey shiny artifacts along the length of the string, instead of the nice linear look of real life. Roundwound or flatwound, both have it. To a lesser extent other metal objects like the bridge and frets. This is even in still images, or video where the strings are not moving.
I've seen enough videos to know that there must be a solve. Thank you in advance for any help!
