Malekko Diabolik - loudest pedal ever?!

Oh it is for sure! It still will blow your head in half with a tube amp though. haha
So I'm guessing the B:assmaster having more controls would dial in the same tones as the Diabolik and have volume knobs to help with the volume spike? Anyone here paired the Diabolik with Dwarfcraft's "The Great Destroyer"? I've been having urge's to hear what those two would sound like stacked and use the starve control to add some blips to the fuzz in parts of songs.
I agree the SP is crazy loud can't get mine past 7 in fear I will blow up my cabs.

I've owned and played both the Diobolik and the B:Assmaster for a couple years now. I liked both but the B:Assmaster is the one I kept. And to me, the B:ass was even louder and more raunchier than the Diobolik was/is. It cuts a bit more and to me can get even louder. It's like when some fuzzes get turned up, the more squishy they get. The B:Ass just keeps getting louder and holds it shape full (depending on where the fuzz is set). Talk about amazing. I know why you see so many out there. I love my B:Assmaster J

just replaced my EH Big Muff Pi Nano with the Diabolik. Did a bit of A/B between the two.
The Diabolik is certainly a different animal, and certainly a bit louder in all aspects. ive come to embrace that fuzz bass is supposed to be louder, just need to get comfortable with it.
The pedal controls are incredibly sensitive, which is better than the opposite! Finding that to be more interesting on the tone search!
Works REALLY well in my board:
Polytune 2 > fDeck HPF3 > MXR Octave Deluxe > Diabolik > Origin Cali76 Compact Bass Compressor.
Excited to see what it sounds like through the amps. Sounded great through the interface/headphones.
BTW, the pedal isnt the loudest ever. the Cali76 can blow up speakers quicker if provoked. Using ears with new equipment, starting low and setting gain structures on amps low until you know whats going to happen is KEY!

I have owned the Diabolik for some time now and I'm cautious about the fact it can far exceed unity gain. Does this hot of a signal have the potential to damage the input circuitry of my solid state amp/pedals placed after?
