I can definitely confirm that Josh is indeed alive and still kicking. He made a couple of posts over on ilovefuzz.com about a week ago. He basically just popped up to say that he's still around and is pretty busy

does anybody REALLY think this single-mode digital reverb sounds better enough than all the other spring reverb models available on similarly-priced multimode reverb pedals? I don't get it.
I've got the Rocktron Cyborg Reverb which has practically every sound apart from a spring reverb so I guess this single mode pedal could be an option for me if one appears secondhand anywhere in the near future. But, to be honest I wouldn't buy this as my only reverb.

I don't even care about it. I really want to see some of the other pedals Josh had in mind. And if I really wanted reverb, I would just use a delay.
doesnt sound bad but then again.....i dont think it differs that much from other reverbs out there.
but it has a picture of a CHICKEN on it dude, that's worth at least a hundred bucks right there!

I think the Spring Chicken sounds good. And in fact I'm in the market for a nice reverb for fretless stuff. But I'm all but settled on the Dr. Scientist Radical Red Reverberator.
To me this is a reverb that you'd compare directly with the Holy Grail, and while I love Malekko stuff, I'd really have to A/B them to see if this one would win in that matchup.
