Man Cave

[Rat Blitz]

I had to adjust the man cave a bit to give the drums a little bit more room (drummers squeezing into a tiny cockpit and knocking basses off the wall is definitely not a pretty sight ... well definitely not the drummers I know anyway).

So I took a few pictures of the man cave in transition.

It's not quite the Bat Cave or the Fortress of Solitude but I have to admit sometimes I just walk down in the middle of the nite and don't quite believe it. I'll just pick up a random bass (or perhaps two) and strum away.

I didn't think I could amass this kind of collection 5 years ago.
Hell, 5 years ago I probably didn't even think of owning a single bass.

Well there is a little fridge in the other half of the Man Cave where the bass cases reside ... Although it needs to get replenished pretty soon ...

Anyway, he wouldn't call it a Man Cave if he wasn't married or in a defacto relationship. It would just be his lounge room.

Clearly, he had to remove the fridge to fit more basses .



My man cave is not nearly as stocked with basses, but then again it also serves as a post production studio too, and is much smaller.

Thanks for posting the awesome pics! Great setup and way more organized than my cave.

I will be showing these to the War Department so she can appreciate the restraint I've shown in amassing only 11 basses.

Small house with two bedrooms. I had a small cave in one of the bedrooms until 15 years ago when the child came along. My cabs and a few basses are in her closet until a gig. Ha!
