Leaves with this...
...and a smile.
I am one happy camper. Even the wife was impressed.
Wow!! Very nice!!
What kind of P bass did you trade?
I really like the finish. Sweet bass man!
Ya know, I didn't even think of it when checking them out. It was the only rosewood 'Ray in the store. Maple didn't feel right to me, I guess the jump to the thicker neck profile was more evident on the maples. I didn't even think about it being orange until my wife mentioned it at home.
It is kind of cool, the pics really don't do it justice. It sort of glows and the ash grain is beautiful. I guess I'll need to protect it a bit, I'm not used to bass coddling.
I was just stoked to get my hands on a 'Ray.
I had one of those orange Stingrays - they sure are pretty.
If that had a black guard, I would need some new underwear.
Very nice color combo on a Ray!
If it had a maple board I'd need some new underwear!
This bass is amazing. It's like a combination of all of Pino Palladino's basses.....
If it was a Sterling I'd need some new underwear.
I really like that color combination.
I have an orange SR, too... but with maple and a white pg. (See my picture?) Man, I love that bass. It's definitely one of my "rest of my life" basses.
Is the Ray new or used?
Very pretty, especially with the rosewood and tort guard.
Maple neck would have made it, IMO.
Still, youre thumping on a MM! So I have no room to talk.
Thanks guys, I'm lovin' it.
Sounds better than it looks.
It's a beautiful bass, but did you really get a great deal?
A highway costs around $600-$800 I believe plus another $800 on top of that?
One of the nicest 'Rays I've seen for a while.
How bout this...
Put a stars and bars pickguard and go for the Geneal Lee theme!
