Maple Fingerboards?

IMO it's just godawfully ugly and hard to use. Sorry, just my opinion and I probably should have kept it to myself. Especially since it doesn't have any bearing on this thread. I'll happily retract the statement.

Maybe rephrase it, but don't retract it :D . The site does take getting used to. I don't know what it is, but I felt the same way about it the first few times. Of course, the less money they spend on a flashy website, the less they need to charge for maple fingerboards, right?

what is wrong with the site?

My main beef is that its about the only site these days that doesnt give a price for international shipping and just states

"Please note that for international orders the actual cost of freight is added when your order is shipped"

Thats not a lot of good for me as i like to know how much shipping will affect my final order price and untill they sort it i'll continue to order from mac or elsewhere anyplace that can be bothered to give me a shipping price upfront...

and just so i dont derail the thread try this ebay shop

California Guitar Builders Paradise

I got a very nice birds eye maple board from them a few months ago pre-sloted,i dont think they have any maple up atm but fire them a message and ask you never know thay might have a few that just are'nt listed
