Maple fretboard with a thin neck?

I recently started playing bass, been a guitar player for years, and like guitars with thin necks and maple fretboards. I picked up an Ibanez EDB690 and really liked the thin neck but they don't make it with a maple fretboard. Can anyone recommend any bass guitars that have both a thin neck and maple fretboard?

if it's still on the 'hobby' stages for you, then I would highly recommend the VERY affordable Peavey Zodiac. My sunburst w/ maple neck has got one of the fastest/thinest necks I think I've ever played AND!!!! it's been good enough to session it a few times.... and not on 'demo'/regional type sessions, it really did surprise eveyone in the control room :bassist:

I think the Geddy is your choice. Buy used and save though. There are tons out there.

One thing to keep in mind, the Geddy neck IS thin, but thats thin from front (the fretboard) to back (the back of the neck). The width of the fretboard is not particularly "thin", at least not like a 6 string guitar or Ibanez bass. Not a big deal but it was wider than my previous bass and took a little getting used to for me.
