What's the difference between plain "maple", "birdseye maple", and "flame maple"?

Looking at them will do better than words ever could but for now.
Birdseye maple has a pattern to it of small ovals with a dark center in the grain that look similar to a birds eye ergo the name.
Flamed Maple is just what it sounds like. The neck has an alternating pattern on it made by flaming portions the neck with an open flame. The portions that are flamed are darker than the unflamed.
