Marcello Giuliani - Bassist for Erik Truffaz

Hey guys.
It's been a long time since I didn't connect but everything is fine.

The new album will be out in April 7th 2023. For this album, Erik & Cello are joined by a new drummer Raphael Chassin, a new keyboard player Alexis Anerilles and a guitar player Matthis Pascaud.
This is a 9 tracks album, will be available on vinyl.
An other album, part 2 of that project will be available…don't know when …

Very different sound and atmosphere compares to Lune Rouge. Marcello played his double bass, an old Fender Mustang and an old Fender Pbass.

good to hear from you!! yes i pre-ordered on vinyl already, i'm very excited. is this a new direction for Erik's band or just a one off adventure?

Well…I don't know to be honest. The thing is that Arthur, who played drums on Doni Doni & Lune Rouge has his own project…No quite sure he will be back with the guys but who knows.
Benoît (keyboard) mixed Rollin' …
This project was born following an invitation that Erik received for a French festival. I think this project will have an impact on the band and forthcoming projects but I can't say to what extent…

Just see them live in Toulouse last sunday. Very good moment. Very inspiring. Marcello was playing his atelier Z and bass sound was big and powerfull. ( a little bit too much from time to time with the drive ON, but i was certainly to close to big sub bass cabinets under the scene ) A blast. :cool:
