Definitely heard some VERY impressive bass playing today, and saw some amazing basses. As the greenest bassist of the bunch, it was fun getting to play a fretless 6 string for the first time.

Much thanks to those who lugged so much of their equipment and toys to share. That guitar synthesizer was insane!!!

I texted Scott (BassBuddha) and he told me about the Pep Boys landmark, thank goodness. (As I was sitting in the parking lot of Priscilla's!)

Great meeting everybody, such great talent (and great people) in Raleigh area!

Agreed, AWESOME time today! Much better overall than I expected (I guess I didn't know what to expect); great turnout, great equipment, awesome players, all-around. It never ceases to amaze me how big of a scene this really is! I've been in the area ~6 years, and only recognized a handful of people. But great getting to know new (to me) folks! It was so awesome meeting y'all, cheers guys! Hope to see you soon!

Thanks for posting the pics, Lamar. I've got a bunch of gear that I'm putting up on the block, including basses, amps, and effects. I had brought some flyers with it but forgot to bring them in amidst all the bass coolness going on.
