Mark Bass compressor alternatives.

I've used the Markbass Compressore for years, but have since migrated to the SA Atlas, which is the swiss army knife of compressors. Plus, it's a lot smaller and doesn't need its own individual power supply...

Your question is a bit vague though. How do you define better? What do you want in a comp that the MB doesn't deliver? For me, that was mostly a blend to mix in some uncompressed signal. Ironically, I don't use it on my Atlas presets at all right now... but before that, I've used a Boss LS-2 to great effect. Using both takes up some serious pedal board estate, and the Atlas comes really close in feel without that drawback (minus some of the "tube magic" that I think gets lost easily anyway).
