Are there any clips of his noodling around at soundcheck? Sometimes, the bassist laying down that lame line you here on your favorite tune is a very different bassist in real life.

I can confirm, he does noodle around, mostly chord-y stuff at least that's what I saw on Sunday?

Through Blink I discovered probably 75% of the music I like most today.

Fugazi, Propaghandi, Screeching Weasel, Rancid etc.

Matt Freeman of Rancid is a MONSTER punk bassist.
His solo in Maxwell Murder is just...wow.
I'd say check out " And Out Come the Wolves" every single song has a great bassline.

John K. Samson of Propaghandi has tone to die for and some great lines. I'd say his stuff is a great example of how much a good bassline can add to an already good song.
Pick up a copy of "How to Clean Everything" and enjoy

Love his basses. As a player, he does what works. Plus, he seems like a cool guy, like when he did that skit with College Humor about bassist being bored.

That thing on College Humor was excellent. I love his reply of "F*** your lead singer!". Priceless.

Would be very cool, I think if they did something like

Bridge: Humbucker Neck: Split P and just Volume and Blend.

Given the Pawn Shop series is all about being quirky, that's a whole ton of quirk

I absolutely love the Pawn Shop '72 which follows that formula for controls.

For Me, that skinny stringed beauty is the one that got away...
