I am looking for a solid combo amp that is portable and will work for practices, and smaller gigs. I already have great EBS gear, just wanting a second more portable system and something I can go stereo with my current rig. I play a 5 string, so need low end abilities.
So, Markbass amps has the 12 " speaker with 300 watt amp. Who has heard it used it? Can you hook up a 4ohm extension or just 8 ohms? Please, any updates from previous discusion... also, any prices in the states (actual paid)..

I have this combo, the sound is very good on the low B.

the amp have 450W, but the internal speaker is 8 Ohm, so, without an extension cabinet, the watt is 280.

you can hook up only a 8 ohm extension cabinet...

P.s.: sorry for the english, I'm only an Italian boy... :)

being from italy too, (ciao Vanni!!) i have tried this combo and a lot of markbass amps.

i can confirm. really clean and punchy sound. even on the low B.

i have the little mark head which is the same you find on the combo 121 and a traveler 102 cabinet.
